Hey …….
I’ve been reflecting on our recent conversations, and I wanted to share something that might offer some context for what you’re navigating.
Archetypically, the nervous system is like the cosmic messenger—an interface that interprets where we are in space, how we meet the world, and how our inner reality forms our personality. When it becomes overloaded or patterned by stress, it can feel as if the “firmware” has drifted due to subtle glitches in the “software.” These shifts often happen so gradually that we don’t notice until we’re far from centre.
On any genuine spiritual or personal journey, there are moments where we lose our bearings. That disorientation often becomes the catalyst for re-orientation—the moment where the deeper question of “Who am I?” reignites. From that point, distractions become easier to recognise for what they are: signals pulling us away from the path instead of guiding us along it.
I’ve had a lot of people coming to me lately asking how to “reset,” how to come back to themselves, and how to clear the noise. And it’s true—our modern world offers a lot of numbing pathways. I personally believe that avoidance of the messages coming through the nervous system is one of the main sources of confusion. But each person has to walk their own path and choose the guidance, practices, or teachers that genuinely resonate with them.
One thing I’ve learned through my work—and even more through fatherhood—is that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. Change requires a willingness to empty out what no longer serves, so new clarity can flow in. No vessel can be filled if it’s already full.
This territory can be delicate. Mental, emotional, and spiritual thresholds often sit very close together. There is a fine line between expansion and overwhelm, between insight and fear of the unknown. Yet it’s often the willingness to face the discomfort—to stay present with the questions—that opens the door to truth.
When a person holds a sincere desire to reset or realign, life responds. Signs show up. Support appears. The path becomes clearer step by step.
Just know I’m here to walk alongside you in the ways that feel right for you, not to push or prescribe anything—only to offer perspective and support when you want it.
With respect,
Scott
